I am working as a professional actress and dancer, so we have lots of workouts, which can be physically exhausting. One thing I have noticed was that naturally my body would get tired post-workout, but often times it was not possible to rest right after workout or a dancing session, as we had to continue with our day.

I tried a lot of energising meals over the course of several years, and I ended up ranking this particular recipe my top post-workout meal. I`ll show you exactly what it is and how to prepare it. Hope you´ve enjoyed watching the video 🙂 The meal is called deconstructed banana pancakes. It is a perfect post-workout meal, because:

  • it´s full of proteins from eggs
  • fibre from oatmeal and berries
  • healthy carbs and magnesium from the banana
  • healthy fat from the nuts and coconut oil
  • c-vitamin from the kiwi
  • antioxidants from the blueberry

Last but not least it´s quick and easy to prepare.
