The scream was almost as loud as an earthquake rocking earth multiplied and spiced with thunderstorm. You might be wondering what the reason for this was…and the surprising answer is exposed right here.
This scream was performed by my niece Gretl alias “The Little Mermaid”. I was seriously wondering if I needed to use a hearing aid for a while after this scream… It was louder than a lion roaring right into my ears.
It all happened as we were getting ready for dinner on a Saturday night. I remember it started so innocently like this:
I WANT “THIS THING”, SO CAN I HAVE IT? BY THE WAY I AM BORED. WHY IS DINNER NOT READY, YET?
THEN IT ESCALATED TO I WANT “THIS THING” & IT`S NOT ALLOWED, SO I HAVE TO GET CREATIVE ABOUT GETTING IT…
I LAID MY EYES ON “THIS THING” & I AM GOING TO GET IT. I ASK NICELY ONE LAST TIME: “CAN I PLEASSSSE HAVE IT”? I AM SUCH A PATIENT, KIND, SWEET & SMART GIRL & I THINK I DESERVE IT!
NO ONE LISTENS TO ME, SO IT`S TIME TO CHANGE MY STRATEGY AND “SCREEEEEAM”! MAYBE THIS WILL WORK.
WORTH TRYING IT ANYWAY…

…AND STILL NO ONE GIVES “THIS THING” TO ME! THIS IS UNFAIR, BUT HEY! THE ADULTS ARE NOT LOOKING AT ME RIGHT NOW, SO I MIGHT AS WELL JUST MOVE “THIS THING” CLOSER TO ME AND JUST HOLD IT, OR HUG IT, OR WHATEVER, BUT I HAVE TO TAKE A STEP CLOSER TO THE GOAL.
LET`S ESCAPE QUICKLY BEFORE THE ADULTS REALISE WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE. WOHOOO! MY EVENING IS NOT
